Chila Bags

Chila Bags

Borne out of a trip to the El Cabo de la Vela paradise in northern Colombia in 2013, CHILA BAGS showcase the beautiful culture of the Wayuu tribe. The Wayuu women create these handmade bags using traditional methods that have been passed down from generation to generation. Each bag is a labour of love and takes up to 15 days to finish. Chila Bags work closely with the Wayuu women, making sure they are fairly paid and work in good conditions, as they contribute to the economy of their villages.

Each design, colour choice and combinations are one of a kind. These mochila bags, with their intricate soft-to-touch fabric and long straps, make for a cool companion for every season.
